Hi there! This is K.M. Tahsin Hassan Rahit. I am a computer science enthusiast currently studying Genetics & Genomics to work on Bioinformatics. I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Calgary, Canada with prestigious Eyes High Doctoral Scholarship. Before that, I worked as Scientific Officer in a reputed government research organization – Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. I completed my Graduation and Masters from American International University-Bangladesh in Computer Science with Vice-Chancellor Gold Medal and Magna Cum Laude distinction.
I was fascinated by computers from an early age. Starting programming at the age of 14, I began my career as a freelancer in 2011 while doing my undergraduate. I was an active participant in Programming Contests and was a member of the University’s Programming Contest team. Later in my professional career, I served in many national and international companies, organizations, government institutions both as a team lead and team player.
Besides programming, drawing art is one of my hobbies. I won quite a few art competitions in my early childhood. I also like to travel and to listen to music.
I am a Muslim who has a deep interest in studying religion and also acts upon it. From my school age, I am happy to be an active member of Quantum Foundation. I became a volunteer in this humanitarian organization in 2004 at my early teenage and serving actively since then.
